1. Who is responsible for data processing

If you have given us your consent to process personal data for specific purposes, the legality of this processing is based on your consent. Consent given can be revoked at any time. Please note that the revocation only takes effect for the future. Processing that took place before the revocation is not affected.

d) Data protection policy for applications

We collect and process personal data from applicants for the purpose of carrying out the application and selection process to establish an employment relationship. Your application documents will only be sent to the employees involved in the application process for the purpose of carrying out the selection process.
If we do not conclude an employment contract with the applicant, we will delete the application documents no later than six months after the rejection decision is announced. We do not delete the documents immediately upon announcement of the decision because we have a legitimate interest in continuing to store the documents due to the expiry of legal remedy periods. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 Para. 1 f GDPR.
Your data will be deleted six months after the application process has been completed, unless you agree to longer storage in order to consider you for future job openings. If you are hired, your data will be added to our personnel data.

5. Who gets my data?

Within the organization, only those who need your data to fulfill your request or our contractual and legal obligations will have access to it. Service providers we use (e.g. the host of this website) can also process data for these purposes if they maintain confidentiality and comply with our data protection instructions.

6. Is data transferred to a third country?

Data is not transferred to countries outside the EU or EEA (so-called third countries).

7. How long will my data be stored?

We process and store your personal data as long as it is necessary to fulfill our contractual and legal obligations. If the data is no longer required to fulfill contractual or legal obligations, it is regularly deleted, unless its - limited - further processing is necessary to fulfill statutory retention periods.

You have the right to information under Article 15 GDPR, the right to rectification under Article 16 GDPR, the right to erasure under Article 17 GDPR, the right to restriction of processing under Article 18 GDPR, the right to object under Article 21 GDPR and the right to data portability under Article 20 GDPR. 9. Is there an obligation to provide data?

Only in the context of active participation in our offers do you have to provide us with only those personal data that are necessary for the implementation of the offer and the associated contractual obligations or that we are legally obliged to collect.

10. Is there automated decision-making, including profiling?

As a general rule, we do not use fully automated decision-making, including profiling, in accordance with Article 22 GDPR.

11. Information about your right of objection under Article 21 GDPR

a) Right of objection in individual cases

The prerequisite for this is that the data processing is carried out in the public interest or on the basis of a balance of interests. This also applies to profiling. b) Objection to the processing of your data for public relations purposes

In individual cases, we use your personal data for our public relations work. You have the right to object to this at any time. In the event of an objection, we will no longer process your personal data for these purposes.
