Kinder aus der Klemme

A special group program for highly contentious families undergoing separation or divorce. The goal is to focus on the child's perspective.

"Kinder aus der Klemme" is a six-month group program with accompanying parent discussions. 

The project has been running continuously since 2016 and is carried out by a very experienced, well-coordinated team.

The course begins with a networking meeting where the parents without their children They will participate. They will be accompanied by trusted and supportive people from their personal network.

The following will follow nine group sessionsAll parents (a total of twelve people) meet in a separate group, as do all the children – each accompanied by two therapists. From the second group session onwards, additional sessions will take place. five to seven accompanying parent meetings instead, in which individual concerns can be explored in greater depth.

The offer is a Help with Parenting, the costs of which are covered by the responsible youth welfare office. A prerequisite for participation is that no pending legal proceedings exist or such proceedings are suspended.

"Kinder aus der Klemme“ is open to families from Berlin and the surrounding area. 

The courses start consecutively in January and August.
