Adolescents and young adults on their way to adulthood often face major challenges: unstable family situations, school dropouts, a lack of career prospects, social exclusion, or psychological stress. This outpatient, very individually tailored service is aimed at adolescents and young adults who need special support in social integration and Development of an independent lifestyle need.

Goal of individual support

The aim of individual social-educational support is to develop a sustainable perspective together with the young person. The focus is on intensive and trusting relationship between the supervisor and the young person. This forms the basis for step-by-step:

  • the to structure everyday life,
  • to overcome challenges,
  • strengths and resources to activate,
  • and social participation and personal responsibility to promote.

How does the SPE work?

The care is provided in Individual sessions, individually tailored to the young person. We support them in all relevant areas of life – e.g.:

  • Attending school, training or looking for work
  • Dealing with authorities and finances
  • Conflict resolution in the social environment
  • Support for mental stress
  • Developing realistic life and future perspectives
  • Independence in everyday life and living

The work is carried out outreaching – in the adolescent’s life – and is usually long-term investmentto enable sustainable change.

Access to care

The social-educational individual care is a voluntary offerThis means: The young person or young adult must agree to cooperate actively agreeThis self-motivation is a key prerequisite for a sustainable relationship and a successful care process.

There are no fixed exclusion criteria or standardized admission conditions – every life situation is considered individually.

Who is the offer suitable for?

The SPE is aimed at young people aged between 14 and 21 who:

  • social or family difficulties they
  • of School or training exclusion are affected
  • with psychological or emotional stress battle
  • yourself in insecure housing or living conditions from befor
  • with Authorities, justice or addiction problems be confronted
